Last weekend, we went to Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We also spent some time at Dollywood. Since we didn’t have Ghost with us, we decided to get at least one trail in. If you didn’t know, there are only two trails in all of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park that allow dogs.
Grotto Falls was absolutely beautiful. On our way out of the park, we saw a truck parked next to a bear. We think they were feeding it. The bear did not seem to have fear of humans. Apparently people cannot read the “do not feed the bears” signs throughout the park. Sighs.
After our hike, we went to the top of Anakeesta. It is beautiful up there. That said, don’t pay extra for the light show. It was a dud.
