The Sunday after our wedding, we just kept on driving. We knew we needed to have a long day if we wanted to spend enough time in Acadia National Park. On the second day of driving, we were heading to Quechee Gorge, VT and stopped in Chester, VT. There were a few cute little shops, but most interestingly, there was a small Revolutionary War cemetery.

These are the things you find when you drive the roads less travelled. We tried to take fewer interstates and more back roads.
This was such a cool find! We wandered around for a while reading the tombstones. We are so thankful for these patriots who gave their lives that we might live free.
It was a cold, rainy day, but I am glad that we found this neat little bit of history.
