My son asked me Thursday evening if I would like to go on a hike with him the next day. I rearranged my work so that I could go. Hybrid work schedules are great – I started working at 5am so I could spend a few hours on the trail with my son.
When your son asks to spend time with you, you say yes!
It was only a few hours….then I got back to work and ended up working a few hours Friday evening, too. It was worth it to get time with my son. Great memories.
Raven Rock is a neat place to visit. We got 3 miles in and had great conversations. Life is good.
