What a week this has been! Last Friday, we left to go down to Georgia to see my sister. This was the 3rd time I had ever met her since I found out she existed 6 years ago. It was great seeing her for a short visit. I ended up working Saturday morning while Marty rode his bike on the Carrolton Greenway. I had someone quit, so I needed to get the schedule worked out.

When he returned, we found this really neat park a few miles away. We were able to get 1.5 miles in before going to meet my sister. Overall, it was a good day. We got to meet my sister, her two sons, her daughter and some of her grandchildren. We hope that she will come visit us here in NC sometime soon.
As out plans changed due to work issues, we got to Florence, SC and did a little walk on the rail trail in town before going to the hotel on Sunday.
Spent the rest of the week in Florence after bringing Marty back home to get to work on time Monday morning. Marty works nights, so I was able to get him to work on time Monday. He was off later in the week and brought Ghost to the hotel where I was staying for work. One day after work, we got 6 miles in at Lee State Park. We saw 4 of the Artesian wells that were built in the 1930s. They were still working. In the 30s, 7 were built and 5 of them at the park are still working.
I love being able to see different places when I am working. I try to get out of the hotel a bit and find interesting places to walk.
