Gatlinburg Skybridge

Anyone who knows me knows that I am deathly afraid of heights. I don’t like flying in airplanes or climbing up tall ladders. I decided that I would conquer my fear for a short time and would walk across the Skybridge. I walked across it and back! I was shaking and felt like I was going to throw up, but I made it.

The hardest part of the longest pedestrian suspended bridge was the glass panels one has to traverse. Stomach turning if you look down.

It’s a beautiful view once you get up there. There is also a tulip tower that provides another gorgeous view. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so I will just share those instead of some long, dramatic story. I did get a sticker for my Yeti. Of course. I crossed the skybridge, after all. That is Yeti worthy.
