Another Shout Out to God

I just have to give another shout out to God. Seriously- every single day, I am in awe of what He has done for me. After I purchased my flooring, my stove broke and a few days later, my dishwasher. But I tried not to worry, because God.

Y’all. Work has been amazing and God has answered every single one of my prayers.
I asked Him for two specific things just over 7 years ago.

1) To be able to spend the precious college years in my house with my boys before they all went off and got married (one was already married!😂)

2) To be able to pay my bills all on my own. I promised Him that I would work my @$$ off and do my part to build a career at the age of 48 after being a SAHM for 24 years. I specifically asked that by the 5 year mark that I be completely self-sufficient.

It makes me cry when I think about how good God has been and continues to be. I screw up a lot. I’m a sinner. He has blessed me more than I deserve. Can’t go into all the details on social media, but let’s just say, I’m making it on my own.

Don’t ever doubt God. I cried out to Him. I begged Him. I repented. I prayed. I worked hard.

Like I always say, when you look back on the tapestry of your life, you will see how He has blessed you in the mess of life, provided for your every need and really blessed you beyond your wildest dreams.

I’m here thinking, “No way! This is too good to be true!” I had gotten a raise back in March and found out 2 days ago, I’m getting a nice raise. Then yesterday found out I’m getting a bonus in a few weeks. God is amazing.

God is real and He came to us as a baby conceived in Mary’s womb. Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, has been with me every step of the way. He has sent friends and help along the way, too. I know there are a million people to thank— but God is in the details, if you know what I mean.

My life verse: Phil 4:13 -I can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens me.

What an amazing God we serve. Would you have ever thought that this stay at home, homeschooling mom who had not worked outside the home in 24 years would be right here right now!?

God knew! If you are struggling, give it to God. Pray. Work hard to do your part and watch out because God’s gonna do some amazing shit! A-mazing!
Don’t fear the future because God is already there.
